About Omega 3 Fish Oil Capsules
Omega-3 fish oil capsules are a dietary supplement that contain omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential nutrients for overall health. Omega-3 fatty acids, including eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), are known for their potential health benefits, including supporting heart health and joint health.[1] These fatty acids are considered essential because they must be obtained through diet or supplements.[2][3]
Omega-3 fish oil capsules may be derived from fatty fish such as salmon, mackerel or trout, which are sources of EPA and DHA. The capsules may be convenient and easy to take, providing a dose of omega-3 fatty acids without the need to consume large quantities of fish.[3][4]
