About Bupropion HCl SR Tablets

Bupropion HCl SR (Sustained Release) tablets may assist with depression and seasonal affective disorder (SAD) treatment.[1] Bupropion is a norepinephrine-dopamine reuptake inhibitor (NDRI), which increases dopamine and norepinephrine levels in the brain.[2] This differs from selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), so bupropion may be an alternative for individuals with poor SSRI response.[3] Additionally, bupropion may assist with smoking cessation.[4]
